Sofija and Ashwin's Words of Love at The Waterside Inn in Mississauga, Ontario
Sofija, thank you for the past 10 years of love and friendship. Without you, I would not be where I am today. To me, this feels like the part of the movie where the hero gets the girl, so I am proud to stand in front of my favourite people in this world to say that I finally got my girl, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
Today, I get the unique opportunity to deliver on something I've been waiting for all my life. Like the classic tale of brothers, we competed for everything. In our younger years he definitely had my number and beat me in almost every single activity we competed against, and he would make it known he won. But as the years went by and we grew up, this is truly when Ashwin and I got closer. We built a lot of trust for each other, and he would always look out for me, give me tons of sound advice, and always made sure I was happy. Let's raise our glass and toast the beautiful bride and groom, wishing you guys nothing but the best in the future, and I can't wait to see what you guys accomplish. Cheers!
Sofija, I look at you today, and you're such a beautiful bride, but in my heart, I am remembering the moment and the first time I held my little princess in my arms. That was an amazing moment in my life, becoming a mother, and you becoming my daughter. Ashwin and Sofija, cherish and love each other and respect each other. Enjoy every single moment of your life. I love you guys.
I have had the pleasure of being friends with both the bride and the groom for a very long time. I'm so happy to finally be here today, celebrating you guys. You both deserve it. I have watched you grow and learn so much together, and I can't wait for you to take on this next journey.
Brothers and sisters, but most importantly, Ashwin and Sofija, by the grace of God, we are finally gathered together to bring a few young adults, children of God, together in the sacrament of holy matrimony.
May the blessing of God, which blessed Noah, saying, "Live fruitful and multiply and fill the Earth," abide with you. May God enrich you with all riches and all good things. May you become inheritors of the Heavenly Kingdom. May God grant you dew from heaven and all good fruits that Earth produces.

Today, I gained a wonderful husband. After more than a decade together, I'm confident he'll continue to be an amazing partner through all of life's ups and downs. Ashwin, you're my best friend, and you have made this last decade so much more colorful.
Ashwin was my firstborn. The first role you had in this world was as my baby boy. Since then, you have done so much to make me proud. You have become an older brother and friend to Melvin, and today, I am grateful that you
have become a husband. I promise you that I will be there for you, in front of you to cheer you, behind you to have your back, or next to you, so you are never alone.
Today, I am the proudest father in the world for having the honor of walking Sofija down the aisle. Sofija, I love you. I would do anything for you, and it will always be like that. Sofija and Ashwin, you're at the very beginning of your married life. Congratulations on your marriage. Have a wonderful life together.
Ashwin was very fortunate when he met Sofija about a decade ago, and I know he truly has found the best of him and we can't wait to call her our daughter. My hope for my son and his new bride is that they find comfort in each other. If you feel lost, look to each other for support. This is only the beginning of a great journey for the two of you, and I wish you the best of luck on this amazing adventure together.
