Michelle and Nick's Words of Love at Ganaraska Forest Centre in Campbellcroft, Ontario

Nick, who would have thought that I would fall for my best friend's dweeby cousin, but here we are. I can't believe we finally made it to this day. We have been through a lot; you truly are my rock and support me through everything I do. You love me for me and allow me to be my true self. You have the biggest heart, and you would do anything for your friends and family, and I love this about you. Wyatt absolutely adores you, and watching the two of you together melts my heart. You're my best friend, and I can't wait to spend forever with you.

So, even though you have one of the best RBFs around, we all know you're soft, you're caring; you're someone that shows up for people you love. You always know how to show you care, whether it be a text message or a call, I know I can always count on you. I'm so thankful for you, and I love you so much. I wish you guys nothing but the best. I can't wait for everything to come, and I can't wait for our boys to grow up together. I love you all.

I've had the honour of knowing Nick myself for almost thirty years. Kindergarten is where it all started—all the good times, all the bad times, all the weird times. We've been through all of it. Some people can spend a lifetime trying to find the answers for love and affection, but you can see that those questions have been answered by the two pieces that they put together for each other. I think that's what I would call love at first sight.

Watching both of you grow together with your son and your careers, really, really proud of both of you and glad to call you sister, official. I couldn't ask for a better brother and a better sister-in-law in Michelle, and we're extremely happy for the both of you and Wyatt. Raise a glass, congratulations to Nick and Michelle.

This is not the beginning of a new relationship but an acknowledgment of the next chapter in their lives together as husband and wife. They created a beautiful family and built a life together with their son Wyatt. Nicholas and Michelle will mark their transition as a couple by celebrating their love between themselves and the love between all of you.

Michelle, on this day in front of our friends and family, I vow to you to be your companion and best friend, to pick you up on your bad days and lift you to the stars on your good ones. To give you unconditional love, no matter what challenges we may face ahead, and I vow to give you the one thing no other person on this Earth has given me except for you. I vow to give you purpose, the way you have given me purpose in becoming a man, a father, and now a husband.

Nick, we started our family, and I could not imagine life without Wyatt. You are the best dad, and I'm so happy Wyatt has someone like you to look up to. I promise to pretend to be fully invested when you talk about the lawn, the garage, or when you start a sentence with 'I had an epiphany today.' And in all seriousness, I promise to love you unconditionally, to always support you, and be your biggest fan. There's no one else I'd rather have by my side in this crazy life we have built. I love you, and I can't wait for our next adventure.

May the grace of this day carry forward with you all the days of your life. It is absolutely my honour to pronounce you husband and wife.

It's kind of funny how a brother and a sister can spend their whole childhood fighting and hating each other just to eventually find a mutual respect and love for one another as they grow older. To be honest, I always looked up to Michelle. She's always excelled at everything she's put her mind to. I'm happy to say I'm proud of the person and the mother that you've become.

Nicholas, we want you to know how very proud we are of you. We have watched you grow from a rough and tumble little boy into a loving, caring man you are today. Nick has been and will continue to be a great partner for Michelle and a fantastic dad to Wyatt.

Michelle and Nick, we wish you nothing but happiness. We love you both very much, and take care of each other.

Today, when I saw my daughter, I went, 'Wow, just like wow, this is Michelle?' You're so beautiful, sweetie. We love you so much, and you guys make a perfect couple, and now you made a perfect family, which makes us even prouder.

Michelle, when Dorota asked us what my favorite day ever was with you, I immediately thought of when Wyatt was born. Seeing you run around with Wyatt and being such an amazing mom makes me so unbelievably happy. I promise to always be the best father I can to Wyatt, and I'll try to work on waking up when he's crying too. I've experienced all of my best and last firsts with you—the last first kiss, the last first date, the last first party as a fresh new couple, the last first 'I love you,' first dog, first home, first time becoming new parents. I cannot wait for all the best last firsts that are still to come. Love you forever, babe. Nick.
