No, we do not charge anything extra for drone videography! The 4K drone is just one of the cameras and pieces of equipment we have available to us to capture your day properly. If we feel there is a great opportunity to record some beautiful arial footage then we will, but not every location requires drone video to tell the story of the day.

We typically utilize the drone to film establishing shots of the venue and surrounding nature. We do sometimes use it during the videoshoot time, but this is only if we have really planned to block time for the drone as it is not a run and gun piece of gear and requires set-up and tear down time.

We do not guarantee that the drone will be flown due to time, weather, and location restrictions. This is a big factor as to why we do not charge extra as we never want to feel pressure to fly when we aren’t comfortable.

Parallel does have insurance and have gone through certification for drone videography.
