Anne and Naveen's Words of Love at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge, Ontario

Dear Anne, today is nearly seven years in the making. Even now, I can't believe that this is all really happening. I can't wait to see you in your beautiful dress today. I've been telling everybody that I am the luckiest man in the world because I get to marry the most beautiful, compassionate, and kind woman I have ever met.

I'm Kalista, Anne's best friend. It does only feel like yesterday that we met. She was always really smart, and I knew that whatever she was going to do, she would always excel at it. Look at her now; she's pursuing her dreams and is now married to the love of her life.

As a parent, you know, you vividly recall a lot of fond memories about good that you have seen in your children. Anne is such a wonderful daughter right from day one. She's kind, she's considerate, graceful, always thoughtful of others. She is one of the strongest persons I have ever met. Through the years, you have challenged me in many ways and you have made me a better person and a better dad. Thank you for your love.

To Nick, since high school, you have been a constant in my life. For those moments between University semesters when I could come back to Cambridge, I just love that we could pick up where we left off.

Naveen has always been a tower of strength. Watching him grow every single day was a day of joy for us, and now I can proudly say that you're a better man than I am. Mommy and I will miss you.

We’ve come to celebrate love, Anne and Naveen, in your marriage, in your life, it is not so much a word; it's an action. It is something that you do, and that is what love is. It's about having each other's back, being there for each other. We come here to celebrate, as we heard love.

"Naveen, do you take Anne to be your wife?"

"I do."

"Do you promise to love her and honour her all the days of her life?"

"I do.”

“In sickness and in health. I promise to be faithful to her in good times and bad?"

“I do”

"Anne, do you take Naveen to be your husband?"

"I do."

"Do you promise to be faithful to him in good times and bad?”

“I do””

“In sickness and in health?

"I do.”

“To love him and honour him all the days of your life?”

”I do."

"Anne, receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity, in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit."

"Naveen, receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity, in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit."

Naveen, I'm so happy that you are the great person that you are because, as the younger sibling, a lot of my personality comes from you. Naveen is a caring guy, Naveen is thoughtful, Naveen knows how to make you laugh even on your toughest days. As a girl who grew up without the presence of an older sister, Anne quickly filled in that role for me, and I'm so excited to welcome you as another member of the Benjamin family. I'm so happy to officially call you my sister.

Mom and Dad, I could talk for hours about how much you mean to me and Anne and how much you've done for us. Thank you for the gift of life and the light that you infuse it with.

Thank you to my mom and dad, who have supported me my entire life, who supported our relationship, and who really were fundamental in us maturing together.

Dear Nav, I can't believe how long we've waited for today. I truly believe that we have found each other by divine intervention. You have been my rock for the last six and a half years. I could not have achieved all of this without you and your unconditional support. I love you with all my heart. I've known you were going to be my husband for so long, and somehow, I can't find the words today, probably because the best is yet to come. Thank you for all you are. Cheers to so much more laughs, love, and adventures together. I love you.
